Happy Halloween

Troop and Pack 157 want to wish everyone a Happy Halloween, and remind everyone to stay safe tonight if they are out trick or treating.

Troop Applebee’s Flapjack Breakfast Success

Thanks Applebee'sTroop 157 had a fairly successful Flapjack breakfast at Applebee’s in Middletown NY. We made roughly $250 this time around, which will help offset the high cost of summer camp for everyone who helped.  Thanks to all our leaders and parent volunteers for their help, as well as all our scouts who worked very hard to make this fundraiser a success.

A special thanks to Steve and his team at Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill in Middletown for once again allowing us to put on a successful event in their great establishment.

Update: Troop Serving at United Presbyterian Church Dinner on the 19th: canceled

Update 10.14.2013: The church has canceled the event due to unknown reasons. No one needs to show up for the event. See everyone on Monday, the Pack is meeting @ Pocatello Fire Department, check the Pack Calender for more info. The Troop is having it’s regularly scheduled meeting at the church where Applebee’s money is due.

The Church has asked our troop once again to act as servers for their dinner on October 19th.

All Boy Scouts are asked to attend as this counts towards your community service hours, as well as gives back to out chartering organization.  Please be at the church in class B uniform by 5:30 p.m. as dinner service starts promptly at 6:00 p.m.

Members of the pack may come out and support the church by purchasing dinners.

The scouts will be given a free meal in exchange for serving the family style dinner.

Josh the ASM of the troop and Garret the Webelos II den leader from the pack will be supervising.
